The team got creamed on Friday night.
The team got creamed on Saturday morning. We were able to get a game in before the rain started.
Sunday is known to be a day of rest but today wasn't. We all arrived at the field around 12:30 p.m. and played our first game around 1:30-2:00. They finished the last game around 9:00 p.m.
The team played 4 games on Sunday and made it into the tourney finals! Totally the Cinderella story of the day! All the girls did fantastic, especially our main pitcher who ended up pitching countless innings throughout the day. She rocks!
All the younger siblings of the girls were also champs yesterday. They are the ones who have to sit at the ball field all day and keep themselves entertained. A lot of them play in the dirt or throw a baseball. Megan had her MP3 player and Nintendo DS to use. Most of the parents also come with bag full of snacks! There was a playground at this particular ball field to help entertain all the kids!
