The team we went to watch was a player short so Emily was a fill-in. Luckily we had her gear in the van, the only thing she was missing was shorts and of course a uniform shirt.
Emily had to play the outfield since she was a substitute. This is a position she has never played. She is usually catcher or in-field. Today was a very good experience for Emily and we are glad we happened to be there to help out her friends!
