Tree Decorating!

Today we decorated our Christmas tree! Our tree is a pre-lit tree which is wonderful except...matching up the plugs to each layer is a pain. Ron had to take the tree apart today and go plug by plug! He got it fixed in ~20 minutes. I worked on it yesterday for ~2 hours and got nowhere!!!

The song playing is one of my favorite Christmas songs. It is a medley by Jewel. Her Christmas album is one of my favorite Christmas of all times!!!



This year is Emily's year to put the star on top of the tree!

    We got ours done too! Isn't it nice to have that job done? And what is it with men being able to figure lights out and we can't? It's not like it's rocket science, for goodness sakes, but Mike can always get them to work too.

    Enjoy your Sunday! Sorry to hear you had to work Saturday. Doesn't feel like much of a weekend then.

    Your tree is like mine...a little of this and a little of that. Makes me happy :)

    And really - you have to plug strands together on prelit trees? I had no idea...what a pain!!

    Yes our tree is a hodge-podge. Most of the ornaments have a story. I love mine too!!!

    Yes, plug strands together. Much better than putting lights on but yes, a pain!!!
