Emily has been having problems hitting the ball this season so we resorted to bribing her. We told her if she swung and hit the ball in her game, we would buy her a sock monkey! Low and behold, she hit the ball twice! Here is a picture of Emily on first base...
So tonight we are going to buy her one of these...
Now we have to think of bribes for future games!!!
Emily also had the opportunity to pitch after a 20 minute lightning delay. She was a little on the wild side but kept her head up and kept on trying!
Bribed her to hit the ball? That's hysterical!
ReplyDeleteYep. She tends to wait on the perfect pitch and this year she isn't going to get one. She strikes out standing there watching the ball. What is amazing, when she swings, she hits the ball!! Interesting concept! :)
