Another Easter has come and gone! The girls and I did our traditional visit to my parents house in Chillicothe. Ron drove us to Jeffersonville where we met my mom and she drove us to Chillicothe. Ron and his mom came to Chillicothe on Easter Sunday for dinner and Ron was nice enough to drive us all back to Vandalia!
WARNING: Lots and lots of pictures coming….
Friday night we ate at Long John Silver’s and then headed to my parents house to hang out. Saturday morning we got up and went in to town. My parents and the girls surprised me with a stop in JC Penny’s for a new Easter dress for ME! The girls picked out some dresses for me to try on and once it was narrowed down to two dresses we all voted.
I ended up with this one…
After dress shopping we went to lunch at BW3. They have the best salsa and chips! Mmmmm. Once our bellies were full we had to go Easter shoe shopping for Emily and me. We both found some we loved at Payless! Whew!
Saturday night my mom went to Easter Vigil Mass and we stayed home with my dad and dyed Easter eggs.
Sunday morning we woke up to find the Easter Bunny had been to G&G house!
Easter Bunny hid eggs with money in them!
After the girls went through their baskets we ate breakfast and got ready for church.
Shortly after we got home from church, Ron and his mom arrived! The girls were happy to see Daddy. My brother arrived a few minutes later so we all sat down and stuffed ourselves with yummy food!
All that food talk is making me hungry! YUM! As I said, you just look so awesome Cristen. Your dedication to yourself is inspiring and I lean on you for support. Thanks for being my work out buddy even from hundreds of miles away!

ReplyDeleteLee Anne, I love having you as my work out buddy! We gotta keep each other going!!!
That dress is SO pretty on you! You look fantastic woman!! Explain the bags around the eggs for me. I've never seen that done!
ReplyDeleteKirsten, the bags around the eggs were for a tye-dye kit we had. Put concentrated drops of dye on the eggs and smear it around. It was pretty neat!
