Our Easter Weekend

The girls and I went to Chillicothe for our traditional Easter weekend. My dad met us half way between the houses and took us the rest of the way home. While Ron spent Friday and Saturday home alone, we had a full agenda.

First on the list for Friday was play at the park and visit the ducks...

Second on the list was visit Grandpa at work...

While we were at the house, we had some visitors...

On Saturday we went to town for lunch. On the way to town, Megan got a little car sick and ended up throwing up in the back seat of the car. She happened to be sitting in the middle between Emily and my mom! That called for a quick trip to Sears for some clean clothes to wear to lunch!

Once we got back to the house we made these...

Then it was finally time to decorate the Easter eggs. We decorated 3 dozen eggs. Some were dyed, some had stickers on them, some had the plastic wraps and some were shiny from a foil like paper!

The Easter Bunny brought both girls the coolest egg shaped glasses...

The girls in their Easter dresses...

After church we went back to G&G house for a wonderful lunch/dinner. We loaded up the van and headed back home to get ready to go back to work and school!

  1. By those pictures of your dad's work, it looks like he's a chemist at a water treatment plant. Am I right? Love the girls and their dresses....so fun to dress up girls for holidays!

  4. I like the park bench picture too! My dad is the one who bought the Easy Bake fish things. He is always buying stuff like that for the girls to do when we visit!

That Easy Bake fish bowl looks interesting. Maybe I should try that and get a fish! Anders would love that.
