Skating Party
Emily was invited to a friends birthday party at the local skating rink this past Saturday. Megan wanted to stay and skate so she and I put on some skates and mostly skated around the practice rink but made it on the big rink a few times! I decided skating is not like riding a bike, you DO forget how to do it!
Emily was getting the hang of skating without holding on. A few more hours and she would have had it!
Megan got brave and skated down the middle of the practice rink!

Fun! Looks like they were having a great time! Glad you got out there on your skates too!! Bet you did just fine. Didn't you skate a few years ago after your surgery? :)
ReplyDeleteNooo, I skated a few years BEFORE surgery and was so incredibly sore the next day!!! Funny you remember!!! I skated yesterday and am not sore at all! Yay!
ReplyDeleteI have such fond memories for rollerskating every Friday night with my friends when I was young. So cool that this place has two rinks. Good idea! Girls looked like the enjoyed themselves!
