Em's game today...

Just a quick update. Emily's team played in Tipp City today. They tied 12-12. Miss Emily scored a basket!!! Our girls could have won if we were in Vandalia. In Tipp we aren't allowed to do a fast break which messes our girls up. Both teams played a great game today!

Last week we lost to a different Tipp team. Emily scored a basket in this game as well.

The week before we played one of the other Vandalia teams and Emily scored a basket.

I think the week before Emily scored 4 points!!!!

Emily has scored at least one basket in each game she has played!

Kudos for little sister Megan who gets dragged to every game her big sister has. Megan is a trooper and secretly enjoys cheering her big sister on!

Helke Hoppers

Tonight (Thursday) was the Helke Hoppers second performance this week. This was also the last performance of the season. Tonight's game was at Wright State University. This is a big thrill for the kids because they watch the jumbo-tron to see if they can see themselves.

PROBLEM #1
I brought our video camera with us to record the performance but realized on the way to the game the battery was still in the charger at home on the kitchen table. :( I double checked the camera before we left the house to make sure there was a tape but didn't think about the silly battery. Typical me. I was very disappointed because I would not be able to get video.

PROBLEM SOLVED

I was able to use my camera to record the kids!

PROBLEM #2: I have tried at least a million times to upload the video to this post and get continuous errors. Not sure if it is my computer or if it is the website. Not making me happy right now.

You can bet next year there will be a battery and tape in the video camera.

BTW, Emily was on the jumbo tron several time!
